Dark GeesePark Creek #12 lies in a corn field that spans approximately 150 acres and boasts a 6-man pit. The corn is cut short for silage, so geese will be comfortable and willing to come into the field. There are other food sources found around the property as well, consisting of disked sugar beets and alfalfa, making this area desirable for geese looking for feeding grounds. Rawhide Reservoir is located northeast of this property and will stay open year-round. Park Creek Reservoir is located to the northeast of this property and will also act as roosting and loafing grounds. With the abundance of open water nearby, hunting can be great as the temperatures continue to drop. This property is specific to DIY hunting, meaning all attending parties must bring necessary supplies for a successful day. There will not be seats in the pit, please plan accordingly. Everyone attending this reservation, must be members of Infinite Outdoors. Please follow and respect all Colorado state rules and regulations while on Infinite Outdoors listings.
Park Creek #12 is a field planted in corn, in the Front Range of northern Colorado. It is a prime spot for Dark Geese due to its location in relation to multiple large bodies of water, and the flyway that it resides in. The front range of Colorado is notorious for large migrations of geese throughout the year. Being corn, #12 will be a popular field of choice for geese in the area, due to corn being a main diet option for the species, especially as the weather worsens. This property can expect to see quality goose activity in the early season, as well as successful hunts in the late season. As the temperatures drop and migration continues, Rawhide Reservoir will be the roost spot for a lot of game birds because of its ability to stay open during the whole year.
